The ‘Competence Atlas Environmental Technology and Resource Efficiency Baden-Württemberg’ gives a detailed picture of Baden-Württemberg’s business landscape and its performance in the field of environmental technology and resource efficiency. The Competence Atlas offers companies an ideal platform to comprehensively describe and present their products, processes and services they offer on the market for environmental technology and resource efficiency. The Competence Atlas offers potential customers suitable search functionalities and leads them to suitable providers. In addition, the Competence Atlas facilitates the search for partners or the formation of consortia in the acquisition process, e.g. of joint research activities.
On behalf of Umwelttechnik BW – Technologie- und Innovationszentrum Umwelttechnik und Ressourceneffizienz Baden-Württemberg GmbH, and Baden-Württemberg International – bwi, Gesellschaft für internationale wirtschaftliche und wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit mbH, the IUWA was preparing the relaunch of the Competence Atlas for Environmental Technology and Resource Efficiency Baden-Württemberg. In order to create meaningful company profiles and to describe and structure the services offered by participating companies, a web-based questionnaire was developed at the IUWA, which is initially be used to record the companies already represented in the original version of the Atlas as well as the partner companies of Baden-Württemberg International. In the sense of the internationalization of the instrument, the IUWA also carries out translation services. The new Competence Atlas Environmental Technology and Resource Efficiency Baden-Württemberg should thereafter also be available in English, Spanish and Chinese.
